Chromatic is: harmony.
Chromatic is: dissonance.
Chromatic is: progression.
Chromatic is: variation.
Chromatic is: color.
Alphabet is: coding the description of phenomena and instances.
Alphabet is: a system of sign a community creates to translate collective experiences.

"Colour triggered sensory experience" is the output project I realized with a group of fellow participants in the IN Residence Workshop #15, wich topics were focused on the title keywords "Chromatic Alphabet". We were asked to use spaces and objects found in the ground floor of Centro Pecci, wich hosted the workshop, so we designed a path between three spots using each one of three RGB colours as a trigger to generate a sensorial experience, to explore the dynamics of a synesthetic process based both on symbolic/emotive and analytic/objective translation from the colour itself to the sensorial input (BLUE-sound, GREEN-smell, RED-taste). In the end we invited every person that followed the path, the people that has been working on the same topics for four days, to leave a graphic trace of its experience, to create some sort of "Stone of Rosetta" that translated our common experience as a small and ephemeral society.
